This datasheet is for version 24.0 of the the Mozilla Common Voice Scripted Speech dataset
for Kichwa (qvi). The dataset contains 10196 clips representing 12.53 hours of recorded
speech (11.39 hours validated) from 15 speakers.
Language
Imbabura Highland Kichwa or just Kichwa, identified by the ISO 639-3: qvi, belongs to the Quechua II group.

Self-declared gender information, percentage refers to the number of clips annotated with this gender.

Writing system
Quechua language is written in the Latin script. All Quechua dialects form words by sequentially adding suffixes to a root and follows a Subject-Object-Verb (SOV) word order.
